Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk I to support the finance department with daily accounting functions. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Accounting Clerk I will assist with accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, invoice processing, and financial documentation.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts

Process vendor invoices and customer billing with accuracy and timeliness

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Help prepare monthly financial reports and assist with period-end closing

Reconcile bank statements and report discrepancies

Maintain organized financial records and documentation

Assist with payroll coordination and timekeeping data entry

Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed
Qualifications
-
1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
-
Experience in a manufacturing or OEM setting is a plus
-
Familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)

Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)

High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
-
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
-
Associate degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience with inventory accounting or job costing

Knowledge of sales tax reporting and compliance
-
Prior exposure to electrical manufacturing or industrial distribution
