Job details
Automation Engineering Technician
Work with project team on equipment changes and improvements.
Work with new equipment installs and support for production readiness
Work directly with FMC project leads, members, Equipment Service and unit tech leads
- Assist in equipment changes for new projects. This will include PLC and HMI changes
- Some floor layout changes in Autocad
- Assist in Equipment specification creation
- Work with project team during equipment installs
- Work with team on spare parts
- Equipment analytics – Downtime history and trending Excel and Maximo
- Assist in creating Technical Work Instruction and Know hows to support future production associates
Qualifications
- Minimum of a 2 year technical degree.
- 4 years of experience in manufacturing equipment controls, automation and projects.
- Automation Manufacturing principles; machine controls PLC and CNC and equipment function
- Skilled In: Data analysis; problem solving and decision making; Equipment troubleshooting; written and oral communication.
