Job Title: Manufacturing Operator I – Electrical Products Machine Operator
Location: Harrisburg, NC 28075
Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule (C-Type)
Pay: $19.00/hour + Overtime every other week
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm, Full-Time


Position Summary:
The Electrical Products Machine Operator is responsible for operating the Wire Draw machines and/or Plating lines, ensuring material is produced within specification. This role also includes performing changeovers, troubleshooting, and maintaining general housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate machines efficiently and accurately

  • Perform quality checks, including using a tape measure and checking product straightness

  • Operate a forklift and mobile welder

  • Complete production reports at the end of each shift

  • Understand, maintain, and perform work according to quality and environmental standards

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area

  • Follow all established company rules, regulations, and safety procedures

  • Work assigned hours, including overtime as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus

  • Forklift experience required (certification preferred)

  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform accurate visual inspections

  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

  • Willingness to work a 2-2-3 rotating shift and overtime every other week
