Job Title: Manufacturing Operator I – Electrical Products Machine Operator
Location: Harrisburg, NC 28075
Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule (C-Type)
Pay: $19.00/hour + Overtime every other week
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm, Full-Time
Position Summary:
The Electrical Products Machine Operator is responsible for operating the Wire Draw machines and/or Plating lines, ensuring material is produced within specification. This role also includes performing changeovers, troubleshooting, and maintaining general housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate machines efficiently and accurately
- Perform quality checks, including using a tape measure and checking product straightness
- Operate a forklift and mobile welder
- Complete production reports at the end of each shift
- Understand, maintain, and perform work according to quality and environmental standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
- Follow all established company rules, regulations, and safety procedures
- Work assigned hours, including overtime as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform accurate visual inspections
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Willingness to work a 2-2-3 rotating shift and overtime every other week
