- 10 AM – 6:30 PM, M-F, possible OT

What’s a typical day as a Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:
The Building Maintenance Technician maintains laboratories and offices in a cGMP manufacturing facility. Provides support to site improvement, and special projects. Ensures facility activities adhere to quality systems standards. Keeps the facility in a state of inspection readiness at all times. Interacts with building occupants to resolve calls for hot/cold, plumbing, leak, noise, odor, fire system issues, and much more
- Keeps all facilities equipment and utilities in compliance with regulatory standards and in good working order
- Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and other systems
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems
- Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs
- Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
- Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components and performs basic troubleshooting using hand & power tools, test equipment, mathematics, operating manuals, specifications, prints, and verbal and/or written instructions
- Applies knowledge of cGMPs on a daily basis
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with contractors and employees
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of related experience, with 2-3 years working in a cGMP environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of quality systems and change order requirements in a validated facility is required
- Strong computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to follow spoken and written instruction in English
