Title: Analyst, IS Business Support
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 12 months
W2 Contract (No C2C)
Pay rate: $39.28 per hour
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, or a similar technical field (preferred)
- 4+ years of work experience required
- Minimum 3 years of SQL experience, including scripting, creating views, and tables for dashboards (required)
- Experience working on complex SQL queries in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in at least one programming language central to data analytics (e.g., Python, R, DAX, M) or proficient in at least two languages
- Skilled in data transformation and cleansing, as well as relational database and data modeling concepts
- Experience with SAP data structures and business process integration
- Skilled in data governance concepts including documented definitions, calculations, sources, lineage, etc.
- Skilled in business intelligence and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Preferred: Master’s or higher degree in a related discipline
- Experience with Power Query
- Experience with data migration projects and ETL processes
Job Description
Responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into data analytics solutions, and taking on a leadership role in the execution of various projects that require expertise in data analytics and relevant technologies. You will serve as a resource to other data analysts to define and advance best practices for data analytics.
- Drive data analytics initiatives while providing technical leadership in individual projects and owned deliverables
- Lead discussions with Stryker enterprise across functions to leverage domain expertise and capabilities
- Coordinate with business process owners who own SAP objects to ensure data integrity and alignment with business requirements
- Support data migration projects and ensure proper data mapping and validation processes
- Lead and assist with data validation efforts across multiple SAP objects
- Manage individual tasks independently and provide leadership for owned projects
- Lead discussions with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data analytics concepts can be applied to real-world business opportunities
- Apply skilled expertise in identifying the most appropriate data analytics methods and tools for particular use cases
- Lead and deliver presentations and communications that build data science credibility and rapport to medium-sized groups
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts, including advanced troubleshooting
- Translate stakeholder requirements to potential data analytics solutions independently
- Experience leading end-to-end data analytics projects: from problem and requirements definition to code/model validation and deployment
