Healthcare Operations Manager
Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking an Operations Manager for a long-term engagement at one of our premier clients in metro Detroit, MI.
Location: Metro Detroit, MI (hybrid flexible, up to 10% travel)
Schedule: 1st Shift Flexible
Compensation: $40-45/hr
Duration: 1yr, can go longer
Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end operational delivery of the BPO services supporting the Customer’s dementia screening initiative. This role oversees staffing, compliance, training, and performance management, ensuring that service levels and contractual obligations are consistently met.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of program delivery including staffing, SLA adherence, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Supervise and support Operations Leads, site supervisors, and field staff.
- Develop and implement operational workflows, training programs, and documentation standards.
- Resolve issues related to payroll, billing, scheduling, and employee relations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Customer’s leadership and internal departments to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
- Oversee employee development, retention, and recognition programs.
- Ensure adequate shift coverage across time zones and manage extended hours as needed.
- Provides guidance to employees in the resolution of daily problems and issues.
- Ensure compliance with Kelly and client policies.
- Customer-related service for taking orders and managing the order life cycle and resolving problems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma Required.
- Background within healthcare, clinical, CMA, CNA, LPN, or similar required.
- Previous medical scheduling and management experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills written and verbal.
- Ability to be proactive and anticipate the needs within the specific area of service.
- Ability to multitask.
- High level of computer literacy required in Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, High energy.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations on process and procedures that are more efficient.
- Good organizational skills.
- Knowledge of data collection practices.
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
