Job details
Job Title: Receptionist
Type: Part-time – 20-30 hours/week
Shift: Mornings
Pay: $20/hour
Location: Troy, NY
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a positive attitude.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable.
- Handle inquiries from clients, customers, and employees.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments as necessary.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access through the reception desk.
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and emailing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven work experience in a receptionist, front office, or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
