Job details
Title – Claims Assistant
Location – Troy, NY (remote available)
Pay Rate – $20/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm
- Provides clerical and administrative support to claims adjusters, processes and pays claims based on a pre-set fee schedule.
- Process and pay 65 bills per day.
- Work towards continuous quality improvement.
- Stay current with changing technology, including software and position/industry specific programs.
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to reach and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
