Quality Assurance Technician – 2nd Shift (Temp to Hire)
Pay Range: $24.42 – $30.53/hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM | Mandatory Saturdays

Are you looking for a long-term opportunity with a well-established company? We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent chance to grow with a company that values quality, safety, and collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure raw materials are released and available for Operations in coordination with the Supply Chain team
- Monitor the receipt of raw materials and in-process products to ensure adherence to company quality standards
- Perform inspections of bulk deliveries including liquid sugar, corn syrup, flour, and other ingredients
- Conduct analytical testing as applicable and record results in designated logs and files
- Ensure finished goods are released and available for shipment in collaboration with the Supply Chain team
- Maintain accurate documentation for testing results, bake tests, and product release
- Apply and track hold tags for held products, update SAP with current status
- Conduct daily production and warehouse walk-throughs, including plant, line, and inline quality checks
- Support cleaning verification processes in coordination with QA team
- Collaborate closely with production and warehouse teams on the floor to ensure quality compliance
- Assist with special projects and additional QA-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous quality assurance or food manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable with data entry and use of systems like SAP (or similar)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must be able to work mandatory Saturdays and be flexible with schedule as needed.
