Machine Operator – B & C Shift
Location: Rochester, NY
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $17.50 – $21.00/hour (based on experience & shift)
Available Shifts:
- B Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- C Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
We’re hiring Machine Operators for a precision manufacturing company in Rochester, NY. This role is ideal for candidates with experience operating production machinery in industries like aerospace, optics, or medical device manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery to manufacture components to exact specifications
- Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure product quality
- Record production data accurately and follow written instructions
- Assist with basic machine maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Follow safety and cleanroom procedures consistently
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience operating manufacturing or industrial equipment preferred
- Familiar with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Able to interpret basic blueprints or work instructions
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
