Scientific Marketing Specialist
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Marketing Specialist for a 7-month contract position at a cutting-edge client in San Diego. If you’re passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts.

Schedule: Monday–Friday Onsite
Overview
The Client is an industry-leading company that’s driving innovation in life sciences and biotechnology. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that promote the Client’s brand across North America. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure cohesive messaging, branding, and delivery of tactical marketing materials while evaluating campaign performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop marketing communications, messaging, and collateral materials for North America, including brochures, newsletters, advertising, and social media content.
- Manage project workflow through the marketing management system, ensuring timely delivery and completion with all necessary reviews.
- Coordinate and prepare quarterly marketing performance data using dashboard visualization tools such as Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support and enforce brand style guidelines across internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Manage purchase requisitions and orders for marketing materials, and maintain print file inventory.
- Act as a point of contact for first-level escalation and provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in developing training materials and provide hands-on training to junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field required.
- At least 6 months of experience in a marketing or communications role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally to meet project goals.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to balance strategic and tactical needs.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Knowledge of CRM software, quality assurance best practices, and tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python is a plus.
