Location: Flower Mound, TX
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to develop and implement efficient production schedules that align with our operational goals. This role is responsible for maximizing the use of resources while meeting production specifications, quality standards, and volume targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production schedules to optimize resources, minimize costs, and reduce waste.
- Use engineering drawings, contracts, and production specifications to create accurate planning and scheduling documents.
- Estimate manpower, equipment, and tools needed for each production cycle.
- Monitor and analyze production activities to ensure timely material flow and workflow continuity.
- Adjust production plans in response to backlogs, design changes, or labor and material shortages.
- Issue and manage work orders and purchase requests according to production timelines.
- Evaluate plant capacity and production data to determine optimal manufacturing processes.
- Calculate machine and labor loads to balance workflow and ensure efficient production.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read engineering plans and technical specifications.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
