Job details
Job Title: Material Planner
Location: San Jose CA
Contract Length: 3 Months
Hourly Rate: $52 – $58/hr
Working Hours: Approximately 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage material requirement plans to ensure alignment with production needs.
- Place and monitor purchase orders to guarantee on-time delivery of materials.
- Track and report on material shortages, backorders, and potential supply risks.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate the disposition of excess and scrap materials.
- Support expediting activities to prevent production delays.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to key functional groups across our San Jose site.
- Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure materials meet quality, compliance, and delivery requirements.
Required Education Level:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)
Preferred Experience:
- 7+ years
