We’re currently hiring HVAC Assemblers for immediate openings on 1st and 2nd shift in our Windsor, CT facility. If you have experience in mechanical assembly and a strong attention to detail, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a growing industry.

Shifts & Pay

  • 1st Shift: $20.00/hour | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM


  • 2nd Shift: $21.40/hour | Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
    ? Pay increase after 90 days!

Position Summary

As an HVAC Assembler, you’ll play a vital role in assembling refrigeration and piping systems for industrial air conditioning units. This hands-on position involves working with specialized tools, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring high-quality, precise builds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble refrigeration components, piping, and copper fittings according to mechanical drawings and specifications


  • Use hand and power tools, including pipe cutters, benders, flaring tools, drills, and oxy-propane welding equipment


  • Perform leak and pressure tests to ensure system integrity and quality standards


  • Read and interpret technical blueprints and manufacturing diagrams accurately


  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area


  • Document daily work activity and progress in production records


  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Prior experience assembling HVAC or refrigeration systems preferred


  • Skilled in soldering and working with copper tubing/fittings


  • Proficient with measuring tools such as tape measures and scales


  • Comfortable reading and following technical documentation, blueprints, and schematics

Preferred Skills

  • Basic computer proficiency (for documentation purposes)


  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship


  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required


  • Technical training in HVAC, mechanical assembly, or a related field is a plus
