We’re currently hiring HVAC Assemblers for immediate openings on 1st and 2nd shift in our Windsor, CT facility. If you have experience in mechanical assembly and a strong attention to detail, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a growing industry.
Shifts & Pay

1st Shift: $20.00/hour | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
-
2nd Shift: $21.40/hour | Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
? Pay increase after 90 days!
Position Summary
As an HVAC Assembler, you’ll play a vital role in assembling refrigeration and piping systems for industrial air conditioning units. This hands-on position involves working with specialized tools, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring high-quality, precise builds.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble refrigeration components, piping, and copper fittings according to mechanical drawings and specifications

Use hand and power tools, including pipe cutters, benders, flaring tools, drills, and oxy-propane welding equipment

Perform leak and pressure tests to ensure system integrity and quality standards

Read and interpret technical blueprints and manufacturing diagrams accurately

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Document daily work activity and progress in production records

Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
-
Prior experience assembling HVAC or refrigeration systems preferred

Skilled in soldering and working with copper tubing/fittings
-
Proficient with measuring tools such as tape measures and scales

Comfortable reading and following technical documentation, blueprints, and schematics
Preferred Skills

Basic computer proficiency (for documentation purposes)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Education
-
High school diploma or equivalent required

Technical training in HVAC, mechanical assembly, or a related field is a plus
