Job details
We are seeking a hands-on Process Engineer with several years of PLATING experience to join a talented team and drive excellence in metal treatment services across various industries. As a technical leader, you will play a crucial role in optimizing production, ensuring quality compliance, and implementing continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Line Support:
- Train operators on new and existing processes.
- Assist with startup/shutdown procedures and serve as backup for specialized processes.
- Train operators on new and existing processes.
- Defect Resolution & Quality Assurance:
- Investigate causes of defects and recommend corrective actions.

- Custom Solutions:
- Develop custom racking solutions for challenging parts.

- Equipment and Chemical Processes:
- Provide engineering input on repair strategies and upgrades.

- Documentation & Workflow Optimization:
- Verify and update traveler instructions; create standard work documentation.

- Process Development & Introduction:
- Support new part introductions and collaborate on technical reviews.

- Continuous Improvement:
- Lead efforts to reduce waste and optimize processes through data analysis and small-scale projects.

- Equipment Upgrades:
- Assist in modernization efforts and evaluate upgrade performance.

- Serve as backup operator and respond to urgent issues.

Qualifications:
