What’s a typical day as Fabrication Machine Operator? You’ll be:

• Collaborating with the Shift Leader to master all fabricating processes for service parts production.
  

• Operating machinery safely and efficiently to ensure parts meet manufacturing plans.
  

• Maintaining accurate records of time and expenses for each service order.
  

• Conducting inspections for conformity and promptly addressing any issues with the Shift Leader.
  

• Processing orders and setting up jobs with minimal supervision.
  

• Upholding the Cooper Standard Code of Conduct and maintaining 6S, housekeeping, and health standards.
  

• Contributing to the achievement of TS 16949 and ISO 14001 certifications.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent; a Two Year College Degree or Technical Certification is preferred.
  

• Possess two to four years of relevant experience in torquing, bending, end forming, oven forming, or tube forming.
  

• Are skilled in fabrication, blueprint reading, and have equipment knowledge.
  

• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of fabrication equipment.
  

• Hold a Fork-lift Certification or are willing to obtain one.
  

• Are capable of lifting thirty pounds regularly and are open to travel as necessary.
