We are seeking an eager and inventive Prototype Machinist to join a growing automation company in Kent, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for creating parts to order from blueprint to delivery. This role is an excellent long-term opportunity to join a fast-paced, inventive team.
Job Title: Prototype Machinist
Location: Kent, WA
Pay Rate: $25- $30
Schedule: M-F, 8-5
Duration: Temp-to-hire
Job Duties:
- Operate a CNC mill, CNC lathe, manual lathe, and other typical machine shop tooling
- Use common measuring tools to verify part dimensions
- Provide quality assurance on all produced parts
- Maintain clean and safe work environment that is presentable to customers
- Manage time and tasks to complete projects meeting or exceeding the customer delivery requirements
- Maintain and display a safety-first mentality
To be a fit for this role:
- Experience with HAAS controller
- Ability to program in CAM software (Fusion 360 preferred)
- Machining background with hands-on experience
- Ability to work/prioritize multiple projects
- Valid driver’s license
This position is subject to pre-hire screenings including a background check and 10 panel drug test.
