Join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team as a General Utility Associate with a leading global manufacturer of transit packaging consumables, tools, software, and equipment that helps secure and protect products during manufacturing, transport, and storage.

Schedule: 7:45 AM to 8:00 PM

Employment Type: 3-month contract
What’s a typical day as a General Utility Associate? You will:
-
Work closely with plant staff to maintain a safe work environment.
-
Start and operate mixers/production lines.
-
Empty production lines into pallets for work-in-progress or finished goods.
-
Keep count of inventory produced during the shift and record downtime causes.

Ensure proper packaging materials are used for each product type.
-
Build pallets to keep up with production output.
-
Load and unload trucks, staging products in correct locations.
-
Inspect products periodically for quality issues, either visually or using tools.

Maintain a clean work area using the 6S process.

Complete production paperwork accurately.

Perform other duties as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
-
General work experience in manufacturing or similar (preferred).

Must-have: Prior manufacturing experience.
-
Big plus: Experience working with plastics.
-
Ability to wear steel-toed boots (contractor-provided); other PPE will be supplied on-site.
