This role is a strategic project management position that combines business operations, stakeholder engagement, and program management within a specialized manufacturing and economic development setting. The key skills required include project coordination, strategic planning, and collaboration.
Salary Compensation: $65,000-$70,000 per year

What’s a typical day as Project Manager. You’ll be:
- Leading project execution by facilitating the transition to EV manufacturing, managing advisory support, technical assistance, and capital access services.
- Collaborating with corporate members to identify demand for EV components and enhancing the MM365 platform.
- Developing and executing strategic project plans to meet objectives set by the SSBCI/SBOP Grant.
- Delivering training and advisory services to support Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) across Michigan, in collaboration with the Business Solutions Group (BSG).
- Tracking key performance indicators and preparing comprehensive progress reports.
- Working with partners to drive engagement and foster partnerships for MBE growth.
- Evaluating strategies and implementing feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience managing transitions from internal combustion engine to electric vehicle production, including technical and financial aspects.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
