Hands-on role with advanced aircraft assembly and system installation.

What’s a typical day as a Final Line Mechanic I? You’ll be:
-
Assembling, installing, and adjusting aircraft structural parts and system components.
-
Rigging control cables, linkages, landing gear, engines, and aircraft entry doors.
-
Performing rework and ensuring all installations meet quality and conformity standards.
-
Installing system lines, valves, ducts, and hardware while ensuring leak-free performance.
-
Using a variety of specialized tools (permaswage pumps, dies, line cutting tools, gauges, etc.).
-
Checking your own work to ensure defect-free installations before inspections.
-
Supporting 5S, FOD prevention, and safety programs in the work area.
-
Maintaining accurate logs, records, and documentation throughout production.
-
Contributing to continuous improvement and aircraft certification support, including flight test prep if needed.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

High School Diploma or GED required.
-
At least 1 year of aerospace/aviation experience OR equivalent mechanical experience (auto mechanics, heavy equipment, etc.).

A&P license (preferred—can offset experience requirements).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
-
Experience using hand and power tools for drilling, reaming, and fitting parts.
-
Ability to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
-
Preferred: Solumina and SmarTeam experience.
