Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: North Phoenix, AZ 85027
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shifts Available:

  • 1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday – Friday

  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Job Description:
Join our dynamic team as a Molding Machine Operator! We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to contribute to our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal communication skills, adhere to safety and housekeeping standards, and demonstrate dependability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record production numbers and maintain daily logs in the molding area.

  • Ensure product quality by paying close attention to detail.

  • Enter data into the computer and process Work Orders (WO) daily through the system.

  • Examine molded products from each machine to verify conformance.

  • Pull products from presses and respond to alarms for the molding machine and robot end-of-arm tooling.

  • Assist with mold set-up and communicate effectively with leaders and Engineering regarding any mold, press, or area issues.

  • Request Work Orders for presses and mix materials to exact specifications.

  • Start up and shut down presses, ensuring they run smoothly according to daily check-off sheets for parameters.

  • Adjust press settings as needed and perform hourly line clearance cleaning around the workstation.

  • Adhere to company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies.

  • Follow Quality Assurance (QA) mandated Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for molding and packaging departments.

  • Assist with any other duties assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience running presses or machine operation is preferred. 

  • Molding injection experience is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
