PRODUCTION PLANNER
Location: Romeoville, IL
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $25-28 per hour based on experience

Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential for coordinating production activities, managing inventory transactions, and ensuring timely order processing to support efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process production orders to support manufacturing and sales
- Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, and specifications
- Perform inventory transactions including receiving, scrap, and location transfers
- Release orders and enter quantity into QA database
- Distribute packets and pick tickets to production areas
- Communicate with departments regarding missing information or tickets
- Collaborate with Production Manager to schedule manufacturing orders
- Open and close manufacturing orders for repetitive cell work
- Coordinate with purchasing and sales on missing components
- Support production in improving variances and efficiencies
- Generate and distribute inventory and consignment status reports
- Provide supplemental data entry for supervisors
- Train other employees as needed
- Participate in workplace organization (SS program)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in manufacturing or planning preferred
- Experience in production planning or manufacturing operations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in data entry and inventory systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
