Job Description
We are seeking a bright, hands-on, and detail-oriented Electrical Technician with a keen interest in electric vehicles, control systems, batteries, and system integration. In this role, you will work closely with systems, electrical, and mechanical teams to build, integrate, and test control systems for a range of vehicle applications. You will be part of a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary engineering environment, contributing to projects from concept stages through troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble low-voltage and high-voltage electrical harnesses
- Assemble mechatronic components for vehicle integration
- Source and procure mechanical and electrical components
- Support system testing, including bench testing and design validation
- Assemble and test electric vehicles and battery packs
- Flexibly contribute across a small, cross-functional team to meet project deadlines
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints
Required Qualifications
- Competency with basic hand tools for both mechanical assembly and electrical harness builds
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Quick learner with good listening skills and ability to organize tasks effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- PCB assembly and soldering experience
- FDM 3D printer usage and maintenance
- Automotive or electric vehicle experience
