Machine Operator Assistant – B Shift
Location: Rush, NY
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $18 – $19.00/hour
Shift:
- B Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:45 PM – 1:15 AM
We’re seeking Machine Operator Assistants for a manufacturing company in Rush, NY. This role supports machine operators by refilling materials and packaging cases. Ideal candidates have some manufacturing experience and are ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist machine operators by refilling materials and packaging cartons
- Label cases and stack boxes
- Manage waste by taking out garbage and cardboard to the compactor
- Perform various assigned tasks on the production line
- Support multiple lines as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Must be physically capable of bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, and pushing
- Reliable transportation required (not on a bus line)
- Steel-toed shoes required
