Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Specialist – Hygienist (Nights) for a direct-hire (permanent) position with one of our industry partners in Eau Claire, WI. Quality Specialist – Hygienist, Nights – Direct Hire | Eau Claire, WI
Salary: $65,000–$72,000/year (based on experience)
Additional Compensation: $4,800 annual night shift premium, 8% annual bonus, 5% stock distribution
Schedule: 2-2-3 night rotation, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and maintain prerequisite programs including Sanitation, Zoning, cGMPs, Allergen Management, Foreign Body Prevention, Environmental Monitoring, Pest Control, and Product Protection.
- Manage and verify food safety programs, risk assessments, and environmental monitoring activities.
- Perform root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyze environmental monitoring data to identify and eliminate pathogens.
- Partner with pest control providers and contractors to uphold facility hygiene standards.
- Provide coaching and training on prerequisite programs across teams.
- Conduct GMP, foreign body, and pest control inspections, maintaining thorough records of all audits.
- Support HACCP reviews, regulatory compliance, and ISO standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for hygiene and food safety programs.
- Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in food manufacturing quality.

Experience:

Hands-on experience in hygiene and sanitation programs within manufacturing.

Working knowledge of pathogens and environmental monitoring.

Experience in highly regulated environments (FDA, cGMP).
Skills:
Strong understanding of food safety and regulatory compliance.
Effective communication and training skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive improvement initiatives.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
