Hourly Rate: $20–$23/hour

Kelly Services is looking to fill an IT Technician role at a locally owned family business, headquartered in Manchester, NY (just outside Rochester); a leader in innovation for the architectural flat glass industry. About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled and dependable IT Technician to support both our manufacturing floor and office operations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for technical support, maintaining the integrity and functionality of computer systems, hardware, and software across our facility. Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Onsite in Manchester, NY
- Hours: 40 hours/week with potential for overtime
- Compensation: $20–$23 per hour, based on experience
- Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
- Provide daily IT support to staff across the office and manufacturing floor
- Troubleshoot technical issues in person, remotely, or over the phone
- Ensure functionality of hardware, software, and network components
- Perform daily data backups and ensure system integrity
- Document and track support issues to ensure timely resolution
- Support the setup and onboarding of new users and equipment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems maintenance, or a related role
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to take direction, work well in a team, and demonstrate respect for others and their work
