Position: Finishing Carpenter
Location: Duffield, VA
Description:
As a Finishing Carpenter, you will complete final finishing tasks for our buildings, ensuring quality work and timely completion. Responsibilities include caulking, cleaning, patching holes, installing flashing and waveguides, mounting louver plates, and painting floors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tile and paint floors.
- Install doors and door locks.
- Clean building interiors.
- Apply caulking to designated areas.
- Complete drywall repairs and spackling.
- Install flashing and waveguides.
- Mount louver plates as required.
- Perform trim work and other finishing tasks.
- Carry out additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
- Use a tape measure accurately.
- Employ basic math skills for measuring and adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems within standardized procedures.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 6 months of relevant experience and/or training (carpentry or facility maintenance experience preferred).
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
- Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Problem-solving skills in routine work situations.
Pay: Dependent on Experience
