Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Pooler, GA
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity? We invite you to join our team in Pooler, GA and play a vital role in supporting smooth operations within our storage facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload goods from containers and trailers.
- Transport palletized or crated items throughout the facility.
- Organize and stack items in designated storage areas in accordance with inventory guidelines.
- Secure all loads for safe transport and storage.
- Stack empty pallets as needed.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections, including battery recharging or propane tank changes.
- Remove machine attachments and clear waste material.
- Check products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong math, language, and reading skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety.
- Ability to follow operational instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Proven track record of reliable, timely, and safe task completion.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required; minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
