What’s a typical day as a Cotton Seed Processing Technician? You’ll be:
– Harvesting and processing cotton seed to increase production for Lubbock Trait.
– Vacuuming and hand-harvesting cotton from field plots.
– Ginning and delinting cotton, weighing and recording seed amounts accurately.
– Packaging seed for shipment while maintaining separation and purity between different lines.
– Following all safety and seed quality requirements to ensure high standards.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
– Have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
– Bring 1–2 years of general work experience, preferably in agriculture or cotton seed.
– Are able to travel for approximately 2 weeks in mid-September and are flexible to work overtime when needed. All expenses are paid!
– Are detail-oriented, good with numbers, and possess strong communication skills in English.
– Enjoy being a team player and are committed to maintaining seed quality.
