Job Title: Production Scheduler
Location: Henrietta, NY
Kelly Services is hiring on behalf of a leading optical company in Henrietta, NY. This is a direct hire position, working 1st shift, 7-3:30pm.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to develop and manage our production schedule based on sales forecasts, material availability, and production capacity. The ideal candidate will coordinate with various departments to ensure a smooth workflow and on-time delivery of products, identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, and optimize production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a detailed production schedule.
- Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and production departments to ensure alignment of plans.
- Monitor material availability and production capacity to identify potential bottlenecks.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts to optimize production efficiency.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) to manage production data.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong knowledge of production planning and inventory control principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Pay Rate:
- $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
