Job Summary
The Material Handler I is responsible for the success of assigned functions within the Distribution Center. This position handles all aspects of lean distribution and warehouse management, including inbound receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping.
Key Responsibilities

Process Shipments: Analyze SAP data, validate inventory movements, and create export documentation.

Coordinate Deliveries: Work with internal teams (Material Handling, Manufacturing, SCM) to develop and execute daily delivery schedules.

Ensure Accuracy: Maintain inventory accuracy and reconcile material handling transactions.

Promote Safety & Lean Practices: Maintain a safe work environment and support lean initiatives.

Maintain Equipment: Use small hand tools, scales, and operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet handlers, and hand trucks.

Collaborate: Interface with other departments, including receiving, production, and assembly, to resolve stock issues and expedite needs.

Fulfill Orders: Pick, pack, and pull products to fulfill orders, ensuring on-time delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or a similar role.
-
2+ years of experience operating forklifts and hand trucks.
-
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
-
1+ year of experience with SAP.
-
2+ years of experience in inventory control, loss prevention, or shipping and receiving.
