Location: Savannah, GA- 31408
Pay Rate: $25.66/hr.
Shifts Available: 2nd shift (03:00 PM – 01:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate automated machines under supervision using existing programs; set up materials, identify appropriate cutting tools, and inspect for serviceability.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and inspections of cutting tools; remove/replace tools as required to ensure proper condition and functionality.
- Inspect materials and finished parts for compliance with blueprints, models, and engineering documents; monitor material supply to support uninterrupted operations.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and minor machine repairs; maintain a clean and safe work environment while complying with 5S and Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements.
Must-Haves:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in CNC or automated machine environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of shop math and ability to apply it on the job
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, models, and engineering documents
- Comfort with handling and replacing machine tools, offsets, and materials
- Commitment to safety, 5S, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Physical ability to perform tasks as required (standing, lifting, handling tools/materials)
