HR Generalist / HR Business Partner
Hybrid – Troy, MI – 95% Work from home
$85,000 – $95,000 (DOE + Benefits)
My client is seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist / HR Business Partner in a hybrid role (Troy, MI). This position combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on HR operations, with a strong emphasis on full cycle recruiting and building a sustainable talent pipeline. The HR Generalist/HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, driving HR best practices while ensuring compliance, engagement, and workforce development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full cycle recruiting for restoration technicians and other roles.
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline and external partnerships.
- Partner with managers on workforce planning, hiring, and performance management.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance.
- Support employee engagement, onboarding, and training programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and ensure compliance with laws/policies.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of HR experience (mix of recruiting + HRBP/generalist).
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management (required).
- Strong track record in recruiting and talent acquisition.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
- PHR/SHRM-CP certification a plus.
