Position Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Ventura, CA
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Description
The Assembly Technician is responsible for designing fossae in wax for custom joints using established processes and product requirements. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and form fossae in wax for custom temporomandibular joints.
- Create chip sets from models and wax castings.
- Scan chip sets and generate CAM programs to support production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Follow manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and product specifications.
- Inspect work for quality and accuracy throughout the assembly process.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in training and skill development as needed to support production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Comfortable following detailed written instructions and procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate manufacturing software.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit and stand for extended periods.
- May be required to lift to 25 pounds.
- Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to standard safety and quality controls.
