Pay & Shift Details
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM ($19.50/hr)
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM ($20.50/hr, includes $1 shift differential from 4–10 PM)
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM ($20.25/hr, includes $0.75 shift differential from 10 PM–6 AM)
- Candidates must be flexible and available for all shifts</strong>; shift assignments are made after training
What You’ll Do
- Operate equipment and sort agricultural products, removing damaged or unwanted material for seed quality
- Monitor production lines (standing or in elevated seating) on a moving conveyor belt
- Assist with cleaning processes and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Follow all safety requirements & regulations, report concerns, and use PPE as required
- Contribute to seasonal tasks such as receiving crops, drying, shelling, labeling, inventory, and preparing shipments as needed
Seasonal Job Duties
September–October:
- Receive and process trucks; husk and sort; operate dryers; shelling/storage; supply and apply treatment to seed
November–March:
- Label, tag, bag, and palletize seed; enter inventory; stage shipments
April–August:
- Retag/rebag seed; inspect and wash storage boxes
Candidate Requirements
- At least 18 years old; reliable transportation
- Pass background and drug screens before start
- Must wear over-the-ankle steel or composite toe boots
- Ability to work long hours, rotating shifts, and overtime as needed
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs, walk on uneven surfaces, work indoors/outdoors
- Customer service, collaboration, and basic math skills preferred
- Comfortable with dust, corn dust, and potential airborne allergens
- No medical surveillance or physical required
Additional Details
- PPE including safety glasses and gloves provided
- Dress code: Long pants, closed toe/heel shoes, no loose clothing
- Food/drink not allowed in work area; smoke-free workplace
- Regular, reliable attendance required
