Sit-Down Forklift Operator (Temp to Hire)
Are you looking to grow your skills in a stable, long-term warehouse environment? We have a great opportunity for a talented individual with 6 months to 1 year of sit-down forklift experience who is eager to further develop their forklift and distribution abilities.
Schedule 8am-5pm Monday-Friday $19hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload product within the warehouse
- Manually assist with lifting up to 75 pounds safely as necessary (team lift or forklift available for heavier items)
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns
- Support inventory control and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Help keep work areas organized and uphold all safety standards and procedures
- Collaborate with teammates and communicate effectively with supervisors
Qualifications:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a distribution or warehouse environment
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to start
- Ability to manually lift up to 75 pounds safely as needed
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures
- Dependable, punctual, with a strong work ethic
