Bindery Operator – Print Production | A or B Shift | $17–$19/hr | Gates, NY
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Join a fast-paced, high-quality print manufacturing team in Gates, NY as a Bindery Operator. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys working with machinery, and is ready to grow in a long-term production career.
Shifts Available:
- A Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- B Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Mandatory overtime may be required during seasonal peak times
Pay Rate:
- $17.00 – $19.00/hr (based on experience)
What You’ll Do:
- Operate and maintain at least one type of bindery or finishing equipment (e.g., cutters, rotary die cutter, perfect binder)
- Assemble books, cards, calendars, and stationery according to order specs
- Perform frequent quality checks on finished products
- Package and prepare completed orders for shipment
- Keep accurate records of production output and defects
- Follow safety procedures and assist with general production duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bindery, packaging, or manufacturing preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Comfortable working around moving machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines
- Willing to work overtime during busy periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
