Peak: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM CT (some weekends required)
Job Overview
A growing leader in the Financial Technology and Services industry is seeking a Supervisor of Production Operations to join our team in Coppell, TX. This is an on-site evening shift role responsible for overseeing the production floor, including machine insertion, manual insertion, and offline metering operations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, results-driven leader who can rally teams, maintain high productivity standards, and foster a culture of clear communication, accountability, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the evening shift Production Operations team (insertion and manual operations).

Ensure production output meets/exceeds service level agreements (SLAs) and client expectations.

Oversee daily operations, including staffing, training, machine performance, and workflow coordination.

Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, and quality (PEQ) through data-driven decision-making and collaboration.

Act as a liaison with internal teams such as Quality Control, Print, Logistics, and Technical Support.

Partner with vendors and support teams to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.

Develop daily production reports that monitor team metrics and recommend actions based on findings.

Maintain adequate staffing levels, coordinate schedules, and support recruiting needs with temporary staffing agencies.

Cross-train staff to ensure coverage across all functions; identify and mentor high-potential team members.

Lead performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development plans for team members.

Promote a culture of open communication and collaboration between team members and leadership.

Support testing and implementation of new hardware/software in accordance with department standards.

Monitor and manage inventory issues in coordination with procurement and account management teams.

Drive cost containment efforts while maintaining service quality.
Qualifications
-
4–5 years of leadership/supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Experience in Print, Mail, or Insert operations strongly preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written)

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, labor forecasting, etc.)

Associate degree or higher preferred

Demonstrated ability to lead during high-volume periods and motivate teams to meet tight deadlines

Experience fostering a cooperative and inclusive work culture

Willingness to work required shift schedule, including during peak periods and occasional weekends
