Kelly Services is seeking a Conformal Coat Specialist for an electronic manufacturer located in W Melbourne, FL 32904.

Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: 1st and 2nd shifts available

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply masking tape to specified areas according to procedures and visual aide instructions
  

• Verify integrity of taping requirements and inspect incoming product condition
  

• Identify and report defective masked areas to Group Leader
  

• Inspect own work for placement accuracy and completeness
  

• Operate automated machinery for conformal coating and perform repairs as needed
  

• Strip, conformal coat, mask, touch up, and bond repair/overhaul units
  

• De-mask and inspect boards, touch up defects post-coating
  

• Use calibrated equipment and maintain accurate documentation of re-work, repairs, and modifications
  

• Bake circuit board assemblies; restock supplies as necessary
  

• Assist with testing and new product introduction (NPI)
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve department issues
  

• Adhere to ISO and job-specific procedures, maintain ESD integrity
  

• Responsible for work-in-process accuracy and workspace cleanliness
  

• Participate in Quality Team meetings; may assist in training other employees
  

• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  

• 2+ years in coating application/manual spray environment preferred.
  

• Prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment (minimum 1 year).Manual spray and respirator certification preferred
  

• IPC-A-610 certified preferred
  

• Knowledge of ISO9001, IPC Standards, and ESD training required
  

• Able to use hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, wrenches, screwdrivers)
  

• Strong team player with ability to prioritize, organize, and handle multiple tasks
  

• Capable of interpreting prints, schematics, and diagrams
  

• Basic computer literacy, problem solving, delegation, and workstation skills
  

• Experience with high-volume work environments
  

• Well versed in speaking, reading & writing English
  

• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
  

• Familiar with ESD requirements.
