Kelly Services is seeking a Conformal Coat Specialist for an electronic manufacturer located in W Melbourne, FL 32904.
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: 1st and 2nd shifts available
Term: Temp to hire

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply masking tape to specified areas according to procedures and visual aide instructions
- Verify integrity of taping requirements and inspect incoming product condition
- Identify and report defective masked areas to Group Leader
- Inspect own work for placement accuracy and completeness
- Operate automated machinery for conformal coating and perform repairs as needed
- Strip, conformal coat, mask, touch up, and bond repair/overhaul units
- De-mask and inspect boards, touch up defects post-coating
- Use calibrated equipment and maintain accurate documentation of re-work, repairs, and modifications
- Bake circuit board assemblies; restock supplies as necessary
- Assist with testing and new product introduction (NPI)
- Troubleshoot and resolve department issues
- Adhere to ISO and job-specific procedures, maintain ESD integrity
- Responsible for work-in-process accuracy and workspace cleanliness
- Participate in Quality Team meetings; may assist in training other employees
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years in coating application/manual spray environment preferred.
- Prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment (minimum 1 year).Manual spray and respirator certification preferred
- IPC-A-610 certified preferred
- Knowledge of ISO9001, IPC Standards, and ESD training required
- Able to use hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, wrenches, screwdrivers)
- Strong team player with ability to prioritize, organize, and handle multiple tasks
- Capable of interpreting prints, schematics, and diagrams
- Basic computer literacy, problem solving, delegation, and workstation skills
- Experience with high-volume work environments
- Well versed in speaking, reading & writing English
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- Familiar with ESD requirements.
