Now Hiring: Contract Claims Assistant
Location:
4341 B Street, Suite 203, Anchorage, Alaska, 99503-7137
Onsite only; remote work not permitted.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week
(No weekends required)
Pay Rate:
$20 – $25 ( Will be determined off experience)

Job Duties
- Enter new claims into claims management system.
- Input and review notes/diaries as directed.
- Process payments and mail; handle filing, faxing, and photocopying.
- Review, prepare, create, and send letters, reports, and forms.
- Answer and initiate phone calls and set up medical appointments as needed.
- Provide customer service and support ad hoc projects.
- Prepare and distribute computer reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support the organization’s quality programs.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 6 months clerical or customer service experience (or equivalent education/experience).
- Proficient typing and PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication (written and verbal).
- Good organizational and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, work-related stress, and meet deadlines.
- Clear thinking, judgment, and discretion.
- Ability to pass a background check (Standard Package; credit security clearance required).
Additional Info:
- No travel required.
- Physical aspects include computer keyboarding.
- Clear hearing, vision, and speaking skills required.
