Job details

We are seeking a detail-oriented high energy person to fill the role of the Parts Planning and Establishment Analyst. You will be maintaining service parts data in the FAST 2000 catalog authoring system for Nissan. The ideal candidate will coordinate inputs from various departments to accurately define, code, and combine parts for sale while ensuring the accuracy of the parts catalog and the Internal Service Parts Master File. This role also involves investigating catalog inquiries from the Dealer Parts Information Center and Export customers.

  • $26 per hour

  • In office Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Job Duties:

  • Review new model service parts for establishment in the catalog compilation system.

  • Assign new service parts numbers and compile catalogs of parts data.

  • Interpret CAD data, reference photos, and other materials to develop catalog parts illustrations.

  • Issue new part numbers for kits, assemblies, and non-production level components through the service parts planning sheet, including kit and component structures, to guide vendors in assembling parts.

  • Investigate and resolve customer technical inquiries.

  • Prepare stock check documentation to validate inventory of service parts.

  • Evaluate proposals for reducing parts complexity in terms of technical feasibility, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness, and escalate any potential concerns to Analyst 2 or Planner as needed.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of national supply and distribution processes, along with extensive nomenclature and functional expertise in automotive service parts.

  • Strong understanding of the U.S. aftersales market from both business and customer perspectives.

  • Familiarity with the unique aspects of the U.S. automotive service market and the nomenclature utilized in dealerships.

  • Ability to maintain database accuracy and integrity.

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical experts regarding the sale and marketing of service parts and related products.

  • Proficient problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop multiple solutions using various tools to determine optimal outcomes.

  • Bachelor’s degree required
