Job details
Job Title: Labeler/Processor
Pay: $17.00/hr
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime
Location: Port Wentworth
Job Description:
- Handle LTL and TL orders by labeling products and pallets.
- Utilize computers to print labels using programs and create documents from templates.
- Require strong attention to detail:
- Match printed labels to corresponding products.
- Verify UPC numbers and product descriptions.
- Understand shipment processes for specific customers and shipping methods, with SOPs available for reference:
- Label placement on cartons.
- Pallet heights.
- Must be proficient in reading and writing English.
- Task-oriented position with requirements for lifting and lowering cartons:
- Capable of lifting, lowering, carrying, and moving cartons up to 70 pounds.
- Assist/team lift with heavier cartons.
- Work safely, adhering to pedestrian pathways.
- Dress appropriately as warehouse conditions vary: warm in summer, colder in winter.
- Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
- Training on EPJ provided, or experience is a bonus.
