Position: Inventory Worker – Warehouse Assistant
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Project Length: 3-Month Project
Location: Houston, TX 77086 North Houston
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM]
Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Worker / Warehouse Assistant to support a 3-month auditing project. The role involves working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, pulling boxes of samples (such as rock core samples or containers with gases), verifying inventory locations, and logging findings into the company’s system.
Responsibilities:

Pull boxes of physical samples from warehouse storage

Verify that samples are in the correct location according to records

Log and update inventory status in the tracking system

Escalate any misplaced or missing items for further investigation

Maintain safety and accuracy while handling potentially sensitive or heavy materials
Requirements:

Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment

Able to lift boxes and stand/walk for extended periods

Basic computer/data entry skills

Reliable and self-motivated
This is a temporary, 3-month project with consistent work and an opportunity to support a critical inventory audit process.
