What’s a typical day as an Advanced Composites Technician I? You’ll be:
-
Manufacturing composite aircraft parts through lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, trimming, and/or repair
-
Reading work orders, blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequences of operations
-
Ensuring defect-free assemblies and preparing parts for inspection
-
Maintaining and using logs and records such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, and DR/DI
-
Keeping a clean and organized work area, supporting FOD and 5S programs, and following all safety regulations
-
Supporting Lean initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement
-
Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

A High School Diploma or GED
-
Basic computer skills
-
At least 1 year of related composite experience
-
Ability to work with composite resins and materials
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use a 6″ scale
-
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability
-
Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
-
Flexibility to work any shift
-
Physical ability to meet the demands of the job
