Job Title: Clerk, Records I

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Clerk, Records I in Nashville, TN! This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented and eager to ensure the accuracy and quality of data within our indexing system. You will play a vital role in verifying data accuracy, making necessary corrections, and contributing to special projects. With a flexible schedule and a supportive work environment, this position is perfect for those looking to grow their skills in data management.

Job Specifications:
Job Type: Contract with potential to hire
Location: Nashville, TN
Pay Rate: $17.75/hr + $5.36/hr SCA Benefit Rate = $23.11/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-5:30pm (occasional overtime with a start time at 6am)

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Ensure the accuracy and quality of data entered into the indexing system (85% of the role).
– Make necessary corrections to ensure electronic data accurately reflects original data.
– Prepare necessary reports on productivity.
– Participate in special projects as assigned.
– Communicate appeals status and document appeals resolution.
– Process appeals and support second-level reviews.
– Manage claims caseloads effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:
– High School Diploma or equivalent required.
– Strong attention to detail and excellent keying skills for data entry.
– Ability to lift boxes of paper weighing 40 lbs or more.
– Initiative and willingness to adapt to changing tasks throughout the day.
– Ability to stand for extended periods.
