Job details
Summary of responsibilities:
-
Assist in installing, modifying, and testing avionics/electrical systems; support wire harness fabrication and functional checks; maintain documentation while ensuring compliance with safety, tool control, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
-
Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.

Assist in completing tasks within allotted time frames.
-
Assist with maintaining required logs and records.
-
Comply with company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.

Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by Supervisor.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Must-haves:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred.
-
Six (6) months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred.

Completion of youth apprenticeship program in area of expertise (preferred).
-
General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
-
Ability to use multimeters.
-
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Computer skills and general software knowledge.
