Pay Rate: $17.50 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience
1st Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday, possible OT
2nd Shift: 3:30 pm to 12 am, Monday – Friday, possible OT

Key responsibilities:
- Wire or fixture parts onto designated racks per general instructions (e.g., using copper wire or pre-existing rack fixtures).
- Read and apply special instructions when required, ensuring correct part orientation and fixturing.
- Perform frequent counting of product to maintain accuracy and meet daily rack quotas.
- Inspect incoming parts and report any defects or questionable conditions immediately to the Department Lead.
- Keep work area and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations (e.g., proper disposal of wire scraps, maintaining clear walkways).
- Execute prescribed preventive maintenance on racking equipment (e.g., check wire cutters, lubricate pins, inspect rack fixtures) as scheduled.
- Complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule with minimal supervision, consistently meeting production targets.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to support overall production demands and address issues promptly.
Preferred qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of related racking, assembly, or finishing experience preferred.
- Ability to read work orders and written instructions; legible penmanship for labeling and counts.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, counting by twos or tens).
- Mechanical inclination: able to troubleshoot simple fixture or wire-break issues.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness—ensuring each part is properly secured before moving downstream.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask during peak production cycles.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills—able to report defects, ask clarifying questions, and document maintenance.
- Safety-focused mindset and commitment to maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment.
