Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable sit-down forklift operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the northland area of Kansas City, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have recent experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of recent experience operating a sit-down forklift
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Must be safety-minded and dependable
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stack materials
- Perform warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and staging orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Following safety procedures and company policies
