Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Water Laboratory
Schedule 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends required
Starting pay $16-18/hr DOE

Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for our Water Laboratory. The ideal candidate has a high school chemistry background, strong computer skills, and excellent critical and process thinking abilities. This position primarily focuses on administrative reporting tasks, with occasional support of basic laboratory duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, organize, and maintain laboratory records and administrative reports

  • Perform data entry and generate regular reports on lab findings and daily activities

  • Support the laboratory team as needed with basic lab tasks, such as sample labeling or supply inventory

  • Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with lab protocols

  • Assist with correspondence and internal communications within the department

  • Help monitor lab supplies and reorder as necessary

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required, with coursework or background in chemistry highly preferred

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and data management

  • Excellent critical thinking and process orientation skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to adapt to both independent and team-focused tasks

  • Previous administrative or laboratory experience is a plus
