Position Overview
The Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all onsite activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing personnel, resources, and subcontractors while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Train, lead, and manage staff and subcontractors.
Essential Job Functions
Oversee Installation – 60%
- Ensure employees follow site safety guidelines.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor project progress.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Participate in project installation planning.
- Manage and supervise construction projects from planning through completion.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and management teams as needed for successful project delivery.
- Assess operational status and safety compliance of client facilities.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Complete regular field reports.
- Maintain accountability for tools and equipment.
- Communicate personnel needs and submit requests for approval.
- Evaluate products to ensure all quality control metrics are met.
On-Site Duties – 40%
- Ensure products are prepared for shipment.
- Assist in planning and coordination of shipments.
- Develop and maintain detailed execution schedules.
- Assist with development and updates of SOPs and Visual Work Instructions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 75% annually, domestic and international).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport required.
- Working knowledge of process automation technology.
- Experience with manufacturing-based technology and processes.
- Strong construction management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully guide and influence teams.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and scheduling software.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automation systems.

Physical Demands
The physical requirements of this role include:
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Occasional bending/twisting of the neck and trunk.
- Occasional reaching overhead.
- Frequent use of hands, grip strength, and manual dexterity.
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally; up to 25 pounds frequently.
- Occasional driving and computer-based work.
